Standards To Achieve And Get The Best Out Of Us
As kids we had desires of doing many things when we’d grow up. Most of us have not realized the dreams of our childhood. We have no clue as to why we never achieved them. We would simply tell ourselves and others around us that those were the whims of a kid that could never have been realized. This reply cannot even convince our own hearts. It is simply an alibi for not achieving what we wanted to do. We have pushed ourselves to settle for less.
It is not possible to achieve what we want to without giving the goal a worth. Dreams are realized when they are worked upon confidently and diligently. The process requires planning and timely execution. There can be no success without an organized attitude.
Optimism is crucial for successful realization of dreams. There will be setbacks and these need to be tackled as they come. One can’t allow setbacks to beat the spirit. It would benefit to be around people who are optimistic.
The best in us will evade us when we are bogged down by negativity. They can be crippling and depressing. Try to say No to people you cant tolerate. Everybody has the right to be what they want and live the way they see fit. Advices should be attention but those are bossy and commanding should be avoided.
Pretense and a misplaced sense of pride are qualities that many people have acquired today. Though your pretense can satisfy your ego, you will at some point realize that it is all a facade and there is actually nothing that you can call your own. Let your dreams and subsequent achievement not make you supercilious. Modesty is a virtue.
Dreams help set standards and hence never lend them a condescending character. They are yours after all.
